Hello! This is Nick from NEFSS.
Today, I would like to introduce the Pneumatic Time Delay Valve, an essential component for industrial sites—especially in explosion-proof zones or areas requiring precise pneumatic control. Often referred to as an "Air Timer," this device is a mechanical delay unit that operates solely on compressed air, without any electrical signals.
The photos shown here are of the actual units I personally photographed while working at YNV. I have witnessed their exceptional performance and durability firsthand. In fact, my seniors in the shipbuilding division frequently sold these in large batches of 50 to 60 units at a time, proving their reliability in the field.

1. Why the YNV TDL-1 Model?
Standard electronic timers are difficult to use in environments with high humidity or explosion risks. However, the YNV TDL-1 model offers several distinct advantages:
Perfect Explosion-Proof Performance: With a 100% pneumatic operation, there is zero risk of electrical sparking. This makes it safe for use in hazardous areas such as chemical plants and gas storage facilities.
Proven Durability: Featuring a corrosion-resistant Brass (C3602) body and Stainless Steel (SUS304) internal components, it boasts a long lifespan even in harsh environments.
Intuitive Monitoring: The high-strength, transparent Polycarbonate (PC) cover allows you to visually inspect the internal piston movement, making maintenance extremely simple.
2. Primary Applications and Operating Principle
This product controls contact points by utilizing the time it takes for air to fill internal micro-passages.
Operation: When air is supplied to the IN port, it outputs air to the OUT port after a set delay time.
Required Fluid: Please ensure you use Filtered Air (clean compressed air) only.
Use Cases:
Sequential operation control of air cylinders.
Time sequence configuration for machinery in explosion-proof zones.
Start-up delay systems for industrial equipment safety.
3. Simple Field Setting Guide
This product is designed for fine-tuning on-site using the top adjustment screw, depending on your specific environment (input pressure, etc.).
Time Adjustment: Turning the top adjustment screw clockwise increases the delay time, while turning it counter-clockwise decreases it.
Securing the Setting: Once the desired time is set, tighten the lock nut at the bottom. This ensures the setting remains stable and unchanged, even in high-vibration environments.
